God, when?

May your roads be rough/Anikulapo spat on my back/I made a jack with my feet – I will never walk the hard path.
But whenever I take a look at the time, it’s either smiling back at me by 3am or frowning it’s face on 23:00.

May your road be rough/ I quickly look in a skip; my friend’s WhatsApp status/ do we both serve the same living God?/Mother’s hands are withered/my father lost his voice yesterday night/but sister has to climb that ladder, it must not brake. But my road is rough.

I keep grinding like Iwelabi/working to make it smooth but no. Raise up your heads o ye gates and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors/just make me a door that gifts blessings

I want to soar like that eagle or even sing like the nocturnal bird/ studio session na money.

Teni Makanaki I will join you to ask/ baba God When? God when?😭
