November

Pleasantries are not enough
To welcome you as such
The liberty set forth by your entrance
Reveals the beauty of Bethlehem’s future.

It is a wonder,
Your letters sums eight in number
Yet, I added the sound of your syllables
And,
It tells me the eleventh month has entered.

November!
Bring Halloween to Nigeria
Help us bid bye to the rainy weather
Before Adekunle’s 31days of poesy
Ransack it’s feathers.

This November,
I’d submit flowers to Sandra
Do ask Zainab’s Zee Royal
If red Hibiscus will make her stagger.

Tell Ewatomi, dear November
I mean Yewande the daughter of Afonja
And Seye Adenle, the Carpenter’s son
That our jet to stardom won’t delay
Since Anikulapo’s Phone Booth call
Has reached Baba God; the Pilot.

Oh November
Remind Barrah of the Spoken Word
With Difftunz’ Bamidele as the message spot
Tell Ade that he will soon blow
So that Jamesconco will bring Atinuke back on stage.

But November,
I have an errand to send you.
In one month time,
Tell Moshood to be prepared
Because Adekunle’s attire
Will appear on his muscular edifice.

So, watch out for a spoken word
That will set fire in your hearts
After we bid November bye
But I welcome you, dear fellas
To this month of exploit.

I welcome you to November. Help me make this month awesome as December is my birthday. Thank you😍
